4 KEY Ingredients To Your Success
By
Larry Chiappone
Your
success or failure in every Opportunity will depend on 4 KEY Ingredients -- Consistency, Patience, Volume, and Persistence.
Your success does not depend on your upline or downline, whether you have money, whether you're educated or whether you know
what you are doing. Your success depends solely on these 4 KEY Ingredients, for which you're the only supplier. Do them with
any endeavor in your life and you'll be a success.
The first KEY Ingredient you need to succeed is CONSISTENCY. Many
fail due to a lack of consistent promotion. Why do you think McDonalds advertises in newspapers and on TV every day to us?
We know who they are and where they're located. Obviously, they must know that consistently being in front of our face reminds
us that they exist. What does that mean to you? Well if you have an opportunity that is good, then how in the world are you
going to get people involved if you're not consistently advertising? This is a big reason most people fail in MLM -- little
or no consistent advertising.
The second KEY Ingredient you need to succeed is to be PATIENT. Sorry to say, but nothing
happens overnight. All of us who have succeeded had to start at the bottom and consistently promote and be patient with the
results we achieved. I see way too many advertise once, and then sit back thinking you don't have to do anything but collect
checks. I wish that were the way. Unfortunately, it isn't and you must be patient, while being consistent. All too many do
not give themselves or the opportunity a chance, because of a lack of patience. How much patience should you have? I believe
that depends on many factors, but I'll say if you join a program right now, and are going to consistently promote it, then
you must be willing to invest at least a year to see if it is going to work for you or not.
The third KEY Ingredient
you need to succeed is VOLUME. No matter what, you need to reach as many of the right people as you can in order to succeed.
I started mailing 1,000 pieces per month 15 years ago -- I'm now mailing more than 100,000 pieces per month. I had to work
my way up by being consistent and patient, and by gradually investing more effort and money into my mailings to get them to
the level they're at now. If you have a limited budget, then start small and work your way up, but always keep in mind that
your goal is to get your message out in front of as many of the right people as possible. Not getting your message out and
not being patient enough are "killers" when it comes to your success.
The fourth KEY Ingredient you need to succeed
is to be PERSISTENT. If owning your own business and being independent and self-sufficient are your true goals, then nothing
can stop you from succeeding if you're persistent. We all have good days and bad days. If you allow the bad days to take over
and control you, you won't succeed. I see way to many join a program, give it a little time, invest some money and work toward
getting volume and then when results aren't satisfactory, they quit. When you quit, you just lost every dime and ounce of
patience you invested in that program -- now the volume you were working toward is gone. Is that what you want -- always starting
over? Instead of quitting, figure out another method of promotion that might work -- be persistent until you have found a
method that improves your success. This way, everything you invested into a program does not go to waste.
All four
of these KEY Ingredients add up to COMMITMENT. I see way to many try this and that, hoping something clicks. Have you ever
noticed nothing clicks? Without these 4 ingredients that add up to commitment, you'll fail at everything you try -- and that
is a shame. I have been very fortunate enough to talk to so many of you on the telephone and I know many if you deserve to
achieve success. Give yourselves a chance, so 15 years form now, you can pass on these same words of advice to newcomers like
I've done.
WIN THE RACE -- By Staying In One Place!
By Peter Nolopp
ONE
OF the saddest things I see happening in this industry is the huge number of folks who wander aimlessly through this ever
widening sea of network marketing opportunities. These are people who indeed find an island oasis from time to time, only
to jump right back into the cold, rough surf, in search of a "better" paradise.
AS I watch them swim away, I know their
fate. Another island, another return to the sea. Then finally, with no strength left to swim another stroke, their hopes and
dreams for a better, more secure life through network marketing, sinks to the ocean floor. But alas there is no floor, for
it has been covered, layer upon layer, by the drowned hopes and dreams of so many others before them.
OR WE can liken
these people to a marathon participant who runs the first of a 20 mile race, then sprints back to the starting line, over
and over again. Then stands confused and frustrated by his lack of progress (and most likely, blaming the course, the race
promoters, the weather, etc.).
BUILDING A network marketing organization takes time. It takes patience. But what few
distributors (in any opportunity) seem to realize that it gets easier. It happens faster as time goes by. But so few MLM Distributors
stick around long enough to see this happen.
THINK ABOUT it for a moment. YOU start out with ONE PERSON building your
organization -- YOU! Then you sign up a couple of friends, now you have three people all working to build your organization.
In a month, or two, you might have only twelve people in your downline. But that's twelve people who could all contribute
to your downline. The more your group builds, the more people there are to help build it even bigger.
THIS PHENOMENON
called geometric progression or "momentum" does exist. It can occur within your own personal downline much like it does for
a company. After all, aren't all the distributors in a company part of one really big downline? Your downline can go into
momentum too, on a smaller scale, of course.
HOWEVER, DEPENDING on your activity, the opportunity you're involved in,
and at least a little luck, this onset of your own mini-momentum might take three months, five months, perhaps a year. As
long as you're recruiting at least one new distributor every month or two, it is mathematically inevitable that your organizational
growth will begin to accelerate on its own.
SO LET'S say, for the sake of example, that momentum would strike around
the sixth month. How many people in this industry do you think are long gone from their opportunity before they even approach
that sixth month? After all, they're NOT RICH YET, and the PROMISE of all those other opportunities are just so ENTICING,
aren't they? Well the answer is thousands, THOUSANDS!
AND HOW many hopes and dreams lie on the bottom of the MLM OCEAN?
That's right, THOUSANDS! It's no coincidence. The oceans are cold. There are SHARKS out there. Find a nice warm island, make
it your home, and see what you can build on it.
Is The Drone Syndrome Killing Your Efforts?
What
is a drone? Among the bees, it is the male that has no stinger and gathers no honey -- it's sole purpose is to fertilize the
queen and then die.
In networking, drones are non-performers -- they easily get excited about making money. They join
income opportunities and quickly fizzle out when their fickle efforts do not show the results they expected. They totally
stall or kill the growth of any downline.
Statistics tells us usually two out of three people sponsored are drones.
Not only do they NOT perform, but they also bitch and blame. It's never their fault. They are scam-screamers and are always
a serious threat to those who put their heart into an opportunity. They are quick to call authorities and bring about the
cession of great income plans. These knuckleheads are a pest to your efforts. You must avoid them at any cost.
If you
seriously seek financial success in the network industry, you can only find it in a drone-free environment. To be successful
in the network industry, you must distinguish yourself as a PURE performer, a Pro-Active Networker.
You know who you
are, you know what you are. If you are a drone, save yourself, your potential sponsor and the company time and money. Do not
get involved in any income opportunity if you are a drone.
NO DRONES ALLOWED!
P.S. -- Words
well spoken. How easy it would be to succeed if there were no drones or we could distinguish the drones from the real people.
